Very fine needles create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. This triggers its natural repair response and the production of new collagen and elastin.
We often combine microneedling with mesotherapy and LED, and it can be paired with PRP, exosomes, skin boosters or polynucleotides. Active acne is treated first, and scarring afterwards.
What it can help with
Needle depth and technique are adapted to each concern, which makes microneedling one of our most versatile treatments.
Collagen remodelling softens certain atrophic scars and evens out texture.
New collagen and elastin gradually improve firmness, texture and fine lines.
Skin looks smoother and more refined as overall quality improves.
Can help some pigmentation, always after we assess which type you have.
Supports renewal for a fresher, healthier-looking complexion.
Used on suitable body areas to improve texture and appearance.
In depth
Very fine needles create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. These tiny injuries switch on your natural repair response and stimulate the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.
Rather than masking a concern, microneedling works with your own skin, which is why it is also called collagen induction therapy. Results build gradually as the skin repairs, leaving it smoother, firmer and healthier.
Acne scarring is one of the most common reasons people choose microneedling. When acne heals, changes in collagen can leave depressions and uneven texture, and microneedling gradually softens certain types of scar.
Not all scars are the same. Ice-pick, rolling and boxcar scars respond differently, so we assess your skin first to decide whether microneedling alone or a combined approach will work best. Any active acne should be under control before we focus on scarring.
With age the skin makes less collagen and elastin, which leads to fine lines, rougher texture, less firmness and thinner-looking skin. Microneedling encourages new collagen and remodels existing collagen.
The change is gradual and natural, not instant or artificial. That makes it ideal if you want to improve skin quality without changing your features, and it works well as prevention alongside SPF and good skincare.
Skin concerns rarely come alone. You might have pigmentation with scarring, or dehydration with fine lines. Depending on your skin, we may combine or sequence microneedling with PRP, exosomes, skin boosters, polynucleotides, chemical peels or HydraFacial.
The aim is not to do as many treatments as possible. It is to choose the right ones and use them in the right order.
Great skin is never down to one treatment. Daily broad-spectrum SPF, the right skincare, good nutrition, hydration, sleep and not smoking all protect your collagen.
We will recommend a simple home routine that supports your treatment and avoids products that could irritate healing skin.
Mild to moderate discomfort. Numbing cream can be used.
Certain types, yes. We assess your scar type first.
Sunburn-like redness usually settles within a few days. Light flaking is possible.
It depends on age, skin, lifestyle and sun exposure. Maintenance may be advised.
Every treatment begins with a face-to-face assessment, so your plan is built around your skin, your health and your goals.
